My World

My life has changed so much since the first time I blogged on this page, I have moved from my Hardscrabble home in Dodson Branch to my childhood home in Gainesboro, Tennessee!

I am 15 years old and I am standing in the kitchen of the house I grew up in.  I bought the house from my siblings in 2010, our beautiful mother passed away in 2009 from complications of a brain tumor.

I lost my husband in 2017 to cancer and I will love him and miss him dearly for the rest of my life!

Time doesn't stop for anyone, and we have to keep on living.

If you have lost someone in your life and are grieving their loss, let me tell you some things that I have done to make the last two years easier.

1. STAY BUSY!

2. SURROUND YOURSELF WITH PEOPLE THAT MAKE YOU HAPPY!

3. TAKE SOME TRIPS!

4. KEEP LOVING PEOPLE AND LET THEM LOVE YOU!

5. PRAY, LET GO AND LET GOD!
